He came to bring the Mourners Joy

And the Spirit and the Bride say, Come. And let him that heareth, say come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of Life freely.

The Fountain of Grace where every One can drink still flows. O my Spirit, do not let God beckon to you in vain. The Word, that lights the Way for your Feet, teaches you that Christ alone can save you from Sin.

Your own Deeds do not prepare you for a better Life. Focus on Christ, and He will give you a better Life. His precious Blood has appeased Wrath and smoothed the Way to God, the Most High.

You cannot put away your Sins by yourself. Your Faith must rest entirely on God’s help. Satan can twist our reasoning in any Direction he chooses. Without help from God’s Spirit, we will be lost.

O Lord, I am thirsty for the Fount of your Grace. Like a graceful Deer, hunted and caught in a Snare, how can I escape this Distress except through the Balm of your Grace. Help me with your Spirit, for I have no Strength on my own.

You have promised you will free those who thirst for Righteousness from their Sins; now your Son, the true Christ will show me the Way. You must be my Helper, for your Help is complete.

O Blessed One! give me of this Water, that refreshes my Spirit for a Life of Righteousness. Let me always drink from this Fountain of Goodness! Let me be Serene and at Peace for Ever! Amen.
