He came to bring the Mourners Joy

    • About

  • Isaiah 40:11

He shall feed His Flock like a Shepherd: He shall gather the Lambs with His Arm, and carry them in His Bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with Young.

Because I am Jesus’ little Lamb, I rejoice in my good Shepherd always. He knows how to feed me, He loves me and knows me, and calls me by my Name.

With His gentle Staff He leads me into sweet grass Pastures, and when I am thirsty He leads me to the well of living Water. He gives it all to me and I lack for nothing.

Should I then not be glad for being His blessed little Lamb? For after these beautiful Days, I will be carried Home, into the Arms and Bosom of the good Shepherd. Amen! Yes! my Happiness could not be any greater. Amen.

  • Romans 8:15

For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage again to fear: but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba Father.

Go, bow down before the Majesty of the King of Love. He is coming to meet you, to fulfill the desires of your Soul. He Whom the earthly Eyes cannot see, we see with our Eyes of Faith. Lord, You are the Bridegroom to the Soul. All who come to You are healed. I have touched You and felt Your miraculous Power.

I can rest assured that You have counted me as One of Your own, bound and married to Your Heart for all Eternity. When You stand before the Father you also plead for my Soul. I prepare my Spirit to the sound of Your soft Music and bow down before Your Holiness. Come Lord, let the Choir sing and pray for my Soul.

Grant that I may speak as You would, when You remind the Father of the Covenant of Love He promised me. Let my Voice be clear when my Spirit says Abba. My Abba, You so graciously chose me, and brought me into the Earth many Days and Years ago, through Your Power and a Mother’s Love that nurtured me.

I saw the World and what it offered. I was tempted to wander with it, Desire tempted me to Sin. You know it Lord, but You also know the Heart. Walking in Twilight, in half Darkness, there is no true Light. So many Christians cannot see and miss the Path to Salvation.

When we become Righteous, we fear Hell. We may be a Slave all our Life, walking the old Path every Day, forgetting that to sin is shameful. Many times the Heart doesn’t accept Christ and we let our Passions rule over us. Satan is always there and ready to lead us astray.

But the Love of my King freed me from slavery. After I found my Saviour, I counted every Day as a Birthday and a new Day of Grace. The Heart of Jesus was broken when He experienced Hell and Death through undeserved Pain. This He did to light a Flame in our Hearts.

O my wise One, join our Hearts together as one, rule over all my Undertakings. The more Your Light shines in my Heart, the more united I am with You. I am ready for Your call and my Heart shall serve You willingly. For the sake of Your Grace my House shall flourish. Let know Whom You will: I am subject to the Saviour.

He Who was disgraced on the Cross, Whom People now deny, Who’s Kingdom was brought to Shame, is at the Head of my Brothers and I, in Whom our Soul believes.

His heroic Spirit tore through Hell and Death and conquered them for ever. Away with the Earth, away with all N ature and my Position on Earth. The true Fatherland awaits above. Amen.

  • 1st Samuel 7:12

Then Samuel took a Stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the Name of it Eben-Ezer, saying, Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.

Now let us go forward, singing and praying to the Lord, Who has given us the Strength to get this far.

We wander about from Place to Place, from the old Year into the new, and hope to grow with God’s Love.

Trembling through so much Fear and Torment, through the terrors of War which cover the whole World.

Lord, we praise Your Faithfulness, which is new every Morning. We praise Your strong Hand which shields our weak and trembling Hearts.

Let us keep praying to You, O dear Father. Remain with us through all of our suffering and lead us to that Fountain of Joy.

Give us Your gentle Blessings as we journey on our Way. Let the Sun of Your Grace shine on the Great and the Small.

Lord! most importantly fill us with Your Spirit that we may shine bright as the Sun for You on this Earth, and in Heaven when You lead us there. Amen.

  • 1 John 4:20

If a Man say, I love God, but hateth his Neighbour, he is a Liar: for he that loveth not his Brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God Whom he hath not seen?

If we say we love God but hate our Neighbour, he mocks God’s Truth and acts contrary to it. God is Love and commands us to love our Neighbour as we love our self.

There is only one God and Lord. We are Members of one Body. We should love our Neighbour for we are all Brothers. The World was not created for just one Man, our Neighbour is a Child of God also.

God’s Salvation is extended to every one. Should we hate the Brother whom God bought so dearly with the Blood of the Son? Why would I deserve it more than they do, to be reconciled to the God Who created me?

Every Day You forgive my Sins Lord, if I ask You to. So why would I not be patient with my Brother? and not forgive the Ones You forgive? and not love the Ones You love?

What have I done for the righteous Ones, even to the least of them, that shows my Love for them, as You have shown Your Love for me? As a Man I should show my Love for You by loving my Neighbour.

An unmerciful Judgment will befall him who is not Merciful to Others. Give me Lord a merciful Spirit in my Heart that praises Your Love for me, and that I might love my Brother as You love them. Amen.

  • James 4:4

Whosoever therefore will be a Friend of the World is the Enemy of God.

World I have considered taking leave of you, nothing here can make me happy or bring me peace of Mind. The urge of the Flesh would not willingly leave the World. It’s false happiness draws it into the Sins which God hates.

O World! have you not despised Christ’s Word, which is Life itself? That is why it has crossed my Mind to say farewell to you. O Unrighteousness! O earthly Things! how you have deceived me. Without thinking I was drawn to your false Illusions as through a Mist.

Here on Earth we are not rewarded with Crowns. Those who follow Jesus Christ and His teaching receive only Filth from the World as a Reward. Farewell World, I do not belong to you any more. I want to be a Servant of Christ, Who has called me away from you.

I am with Christ the Comforter, He has redeemed me with His Blood. He has let me inherit Heaven and therefore I shall not perish. My God, forgive me for all the Sins I have committed from my youth until now, and let me obtain Grace.

Grant Grace to Your weak Servant, that I may not perish forever, and let my Soul grow and inherit that which You have chosen for me. I will give Thanks forever and my Spirit shall sing Praises to You for ever. I bring a Sacrifice of Praise to the heights of mount Zion.

Lord, for the rest of my Days I will be careful to separate Right from Wrong. The Pleasures of the World will be Pain and Poison to me. I would rather have Your Grace. Therefore World, I will not cling to you any more. You only bring Pain and Death, but my desire is for God.

Arise, my Soul, and step forward, the Bridegroom is come. Meet Him in His holy Splendor! Do not delay for for that would mean weeping for ever. Amen.

  • 1 John 2:15

Love not the World, neither the Things that are in the World.

We want to be Christians, but first look in the Mirror and see what we have done. Have all our efforts been to obey the commands of Christ’s Words? Are we fleeing from the evil Burden of Sin? Are we suppressing our evil Impulses with all Our Strength to the point of Death?

If we love God we must give up what is contrary to Him. God does not tolerate the works of the Flesh or the evil cunning of Satan in Christians. If we are to be exalted by God’s Love we must refrain from sinning. If we love the World and practice pride and fleshly lusts, we have no love for God. When we love God, all worldly Things disappear.

Let us love and listen to all of God’s commandments. The teaching of Christ shows that whoever loves Him, follows His Voice. God is pleased with a Heart that spreads His Glory and Honour in obedience, and is soft in Love through Joy, Pleasure and Pain. Such a Heart is His dearest Friend.

God is a fierce Revenger when we do not obey the Commandments He has given us. He punishes the Wrongdoers, but rewards those who are faithful. If we are obedient and God’s Love comes into our Heart, the Law and Punishment are not needed. If we are willing we must work hard, otherwise we will feel the Pain of the Law.

God strengthens true Love and it never gets tired. It looks forward and hurries toward blessed Peace. Away from the burdens of the Earth to rest in God’s Bosom. When our Soul awakens, the Spirit of God is renewed. Bliss, Pleasure, and Joy smile upon it. Our Spirit is not burdened by Sorrow, but is made Sweet by God’s Love.

If we profess Love but are not fruitful, He will not accept us as His Child. If we are to gain God’s Love, all worldly Impulses must be completely put aside. If we seek God’s Love as a precious Treasure, He will live in our Heart. If we do not regret loss of the World and ask His forgiveness, His Love will be ever with us.

This Love remains with us for ever; for ever in Heaven where nothing con take us away from Him. What we miss here can not compare to what we will have in Heaven. Let all the Attractions of the World perish. If God’s Love is with us, and we cherish it; then even in Death we will leave with an uplifted Heart. We can look forward to God’s Love in Heaven.

So let us stand united with God for all Time. Even when Storms of Suffering and Plagues beset us. Bear it in good Spirits, for God’s love makes every Thing worthwhile. Amen.

  • John 3:5

Jesus answered, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a Man be born of Water and of the Holy Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit! we praise You now and for ever, for all the Goodness You have given us. We have been washed clean from Sin through holy Water according to Your Grace.

Lord, I know I was conceived of the Seed of Sin. O, Child of wrath, who is contrary to You in my Mind. I know that by Nature I do not fear, and I resist Your Will and Words.

O Father, when I was completely lost, You gently drew me to You and gave me new birth through holy Baptism. So now I can comfort myself with You throughout my Life.

Lord Jesus Christ! Your precious Blood washed my Sins from me. The flood erased the Curse I was guilty of by Nature and gave me Grace in my Father’s sight. The same Grace which Adam had forfeited.

O Holy Spirit, I thank You for this gracious Gift, that Your powerful Testimony is within me, through which I can call upon the Creator with confidence and joy: Abba Father.

Since in baptism Jesus Christ was drawn to me, I ask His help that Satan’s cunning cannot deceive me. Those who are in God’s Temple and in His Grace will always be safe from the evil Enemy.

O Lord, in my need let me now and for ever remember the Mercy which You extend to me. My Heart will always be comforted because I can rely on Your help and Grace.

At my baptism I pledged to serve only You. Help me, that Sin will no longer dominate me. Grant it that I may be obedient to Your will and grateful for Your Blessing and Faithfulness, as I have promised.

If I do some thing because of weakness, please forgive me and do not hold it against me. Give me Grace to hold me steadfast to You until You take my Soul to be in Heaven with You. Amen.

  • John 3:16

For God so loved the World, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting Life.

God loved the World so much, a World He was greatly concerned for, that He gave His only Son, a Son Who was His Treasure, His Crown, His Heart and Life. He sent His beloved Son into the wicked World to save it. How hot must His Passion have burned for Man to give His most prized Possession to bring us Salvation.

God with a gentle and merciful Heart sent His only Child, His most precious Possession, so that we might freely seek Salvation through Him. He sent Him to where He was shamed and died on a Cross. He bore much suffering to bring the Mourners Joy. He did this for you, O World, to ransom you from your Prison, so you could be free of the Charges against you. But when God entrusted His Son to you, you were unfaithful and rejected Him.

For this reason, Sin and Death and Satan have condemned us to distress and fear of Hell. There is only god’s counsel that can help save us from Hell and destruction. God gave His Son so that through Him all Humans burdened by Sin can be healed. We, who are surrounded by damnation shall receive Redemption, Consolation and the Gift of Life.

O God, the Foundation of my Life, where shall I find Words to describe Your faithful Heart? What has happened, what have You seen in this World that has mocked You so much, and You still gave so much to save? Why do You try to save those who have become so Weakened and Shameless? What pleasure did You have, knowing Your Reward for saving them would only bring You shame?

My Heart weeps with Sorrow and Grief when I consider how badly and with what Contempt we treat You. Many do not want You, and the Son You gave them, they trample underfoot. Our Father, You want the best for all Your Children. You gave Your Son’s Blood for all Sinners. You want the Faith You have given them to be firmly planted in their Hearts, and their Souls to be refreshed and made new.

Behold, the World is against You Lord. You build up but the World destroys and so cannot attain Salvation. It remains dead and can have no Part in the Kingdom of Heaven, where the Righteous who have followed God go. O God, You are not to blame, for You ever kept watch. The Enemy and hater of Your Grace is the evil One. He did not want success for Your Son, the One close to Your Heart, the only Saviour.

So stay foolish Ones, I will go with the Son. When I give myself to Him and am complete, He will reward me my Crown. If I have the Son I have enough, He bore my Sin, His Anguish, my Joy, His Death, my Nourishment. I rejoice when I think of the Son, He is my Song and Harp; when I am ill, when me Sins seem greater than God’s grace, and when my Heart wants to rob me of my Faith.

If God was kind to me when we were enemies, He Who does not pervert Justice, will not be hostile to me now that I am reconciled to Him. His Son Who is not guilty of any sin, has borne more for me than I deserve. If there are shortcomings here and there, do not be discouraged. Let worry and sorrow vanish. He Who does not deny me the great things will surely find a solution for the small. God gave His Son to die for me, how could He deny me Heaven with Him.

We can be certain of this and will die according to God’s will. We must bear our Cross and the whole Course of our Life happily. Here we have God and God’s Son, and in Heaven beside God’s Throne, we shall continue in eternal Joy. Amen.

  • Romans 3:25

Whom God has set for to be a Sacrifice through Faith in His Blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of Sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.

Lord Jesus Christ, in You alone is my Hope on Earth centered. You are my Comforter, no one else can provide solace like You can. No Man was ever born, no Angel was ever chosen who could help me in my time of Need. I pray to You, the only One that I can trust.

My Sins are exceeding great, I am repentant from the bottom of my Heart. Through Your Pain and Death You have released me from them. This You did so You could bring me to the Father, free from the burden of my Sins. Lord, I hold fast to Your Promise.

According to Your mercy, give me the Faith to be a true Christian, so that my Heart will be filled with Your true Goodness. Above all I must love You and my Neighbours as much as You love me. I need Your help to turn away Satan’s scheming Ways.

Glory to God Who sits on the highest Throne, and to Jesus Christ, His beloved Son Who is our Protector. Praise God! the Holy Spirit Who is always reaching out to us! Praise Him here on Earth that one Day we may praise Him in Heaven. Amen.

  • John 1:32

And John bare Record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from Heaven like a Dove, and it abode upon Him.

O beautiful Dove! for a long while the Father has seen the Faith in You. Stay here in God’s City, here with the members of Christ. Rest, here among all the desired Christian Guests.

Sit down beside one another and let Peace reign. As You rise up above the Water and come up to us, bring the green Leaf that is the Sign that the Floods are receding.

The Words in Your Mouth testify to the Covenant of renewed Peace. Those imprisoned in Noah’s Ark, are reconciled with God. Storm and Flood does not harm us. Through raging Waves the Church and Ark float unharmed.

The green Leaf you have taken from the Tree of Life which has flourished in the Garden of Eden, still shines with the Oil that the suffering of Jesus poured upon it.

O! the sweet Fragrance of Life, which refreshes our Hearts! the Olive Leaf brings us cool Relief when the Cross weighs heavy upon us. It gives Strength and renewed Spirit. It heals all Wounds when it is bound on them with Faith.

Messenger from Heaven! admonish the hustle and bustle of this World. Make a stillness in it that all may gather there with one Heart. Let the Leaf from Your Mouth touch our Lips, so we may spread Your guiding Words.

Let not this Sign of Peace depart from us: Yes, let this Leaf grow and become a Tree that will bear Fruit for us here on Earth. When we die and go to meet the Saviour, let us find many Leaves, enough to weave a Crown.

Now, dear Dove! our Faith calls for You to come. If You dwell where all is Purity: Please! then make us Pure. The Dove’s nature brings ascension; when our Day comes, carry us upon Your Wings high above the starry Hills. Amen.
