He came to bring the Mourners Joy

Greater Love hath no Man than this, that a Man lay down his Life for his Friends.

He who is on the Cross is my Beloved, He alone in this World. 0, if He could only stay for ever by my Side, the One who pleases me so much. Let Him be true and new every Hour, through good and bad. The One on the Cross is my Beloved.

Struggle and Toil is not hidden from me, Shame, Persecution, Temptation and Tribulations. O, but if my Beloved wills it, bitter Death cannot overcome me, though all the World make me stumble. The One on the Cross is my Beloved.

I would rather choose Pain and Torment than live a worldly Life with it’s vain deception of Honour. Even though I am called a Fool and the World beckons with it’s Temptations of Joy. The One on the Cross is my Beloved.

Do you know who gives me Courage and Strength, that my Heart laughs at the Works of the Flesh and the Wrath of Satan? Love is stronger than Death! Therefore I fear not Distress nor Sadness: The One on the Cross is my Beloved.

This Love will reward me and lead me to the Father’s House. When my Time on Earth ends I will receive my Wreath and Crown. O, that the whole World would write this in their Hearts: The One on the Cross is my Beloved. Amen
